About Ainsley

How Ainsley works

Ainsley is Constellation's NSW-based occupational therapist, supporting NDIS participants and aged care clients across Sydney and regional NSW. Her caseload covers the full lifespan: children working on regulation and daily routines, teenagers building independence, adults rebuilding skills after injury or illness, and older Australians staying safe and confident at home.

She is AHPRA-registered, with a strong grounding in both NDIS and aged care frameworks. Her assessment work covers Functional Capacity Assessments, home safety and equipment assessments, and the kind of clear, evidence-based reporting that planners, support coordinators and Support at Home providers can actually use.

Ainsley works primarily in clients' homes and communities, with telehealth available where it suits. That mobile model matters in NSW, where access to allied health varies sharply between metro Sydney and the regional towns just a few hours out. A typical week might include a sensory-rich session with a child in their living room, an FCA for an NDIS plan review, and a bathroom safety assessment for an older client in their own home.

She is comfortable in coordinated care, working with GPs, support coordinators, Support at Home providers, schools and other allied health clinicians. Her reports are designed to be read and used, not filed, and her recommendations are grounded in what a family or support team can realistically do day to day.

Common reasons people come to Ainsley include NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments, home modifications and equipment under Aged Care, paediatric and adolescent OT, daily living skills for adults, and falls prevention and home safety for older adults.

Approach

Ainsley is strengths-based, practical and warm. She believes good OT is about helping people do the things that matter to them, not making them better at doing therapy.
