About Ella
Ella is one of Constellation's QLD-based occupational therapists, splitting her time between the Gympie clinic, mobile sessions across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane regions, and telehealth for participants in more remote pockets of the catchment. The variety suits her, she would rather meet a child at their kitchen table or a teenager in their school car park than expect every client to come to a clinic room.
She holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and is AHPRA-registered. Her caseload spans children with sensory and regulation differences, school-aged kids working on handwriting, fine motor and executive function, teenagers learning to manage their own routines, and adults building skills around daily living, work and community participation.
A meaningful part of Ella's role is functional assessment and NDIS reporting. She is comfortable writing the kind of reports planners and support coordinators actually want to see: clear functional picture, realistic recommendations, costed supports where appropriate, and language that doesn't leave families needing a translator.
Ella works hand-in-hand with the rest of the team. When a child is seeing both Ella and a Constellation speech pathologist or counsellor, she actively coordinates so the family isn't repeating themselves three times. When a parent needs strategies they can run at home between sessions, she sends them home with something practical, not a 12-page handout.
Common reasons people come to Ella include early intervention OT, school readiness, sensory and self-regulation support, NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments, daily living skills for teens and young adults, and assistive technology and equipment recommendations.
Ella works in a strengths-based, neuro-affirming way. She is happiest meeting clients in real-world environments where therapy can actually translate, and she keeps her recommendations grounded in what a family or support team can realistically do.

Working with Ella
Does Ella come out to schools and homes?
Yes. A lot of Ella's work happens at home, at school or in the community, where the skills she is working on actually need to land. Mobile fees and travel are quoted upfront.
Can Ella do an FCA for my NDIS plan review?
Yes. Ella regularly writes Functional Capacity Assessments for plan reviews and changing support needs. Reach out via the intake form and the team will scope it with you.
