About Gagan

How Gagan works

Gagan is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and one of Constellation's Victorian-based clinicians. Her work focuses on the people most dietetics services don't quite fit: children with significant food selectivity, NDIS participants with complex nutritional needs, older adults with weight loss and mealtime difficulties, and families trying to keep a child safely eating while everyone is exhausted.

She has more than six years of Australian dietetics experience plus additional international experience, and her clinical scope spans paediatrics and adults. ARFID and fussy eating are a particular interest, and she works closely with the speech pathology and OT teams when food selectivity is sitting on top of sensory, regulation or oral-motor issues.

Gagan also supports clients with diabetes, GI conditions, malnutrition risk and the kind of complex multi-condition presentations common in aged care and disability work. Her aged care work often shows up as mealtime management, supplementation planning and home visits where a client is losing weight and the family isn't sure why.

She works out of the Hawthorn clinic, via mobile visits across greater Melbourne, and via telehealth for clients across Victoria. Common reasons for referral include ARFID and fussy eating, NDIS-funded dietetics for complex disability, aged care nutrition support, diabetes management, and post-illness or post-surgery nutrition recovery.

If you're not sure whether dietetics is the right fit, the intake team will help work that out before booking in.

Approach

Gagan is practical, family-aware and weight-inclusive in her practice. She works in small, sustainable steps rather than overhauling a household's eating overnight, and she keeps the rest of the care team in the loop.
