About Kristie
Kristie is one of Constellation's senior clinical voices, and the clinician many of the team's most complex referrals land with. She is AHPRA-registered, holds postgraduate clinical psychology qualifications, and has spent more than ten years working across diagnostic assessment, therapy and consultation with families, schools and the health system.
Her assessment work covers cognitive, learning, attention and broader psychological assessments for children, adolescents and adults, including NDIS clinical psychology assessments where families need clear diagnostic evidence and a functional picture for plan reviews. She writes reports that are designed to be used, not filed: practical recommendations, clear language and the kind of detail planners, schools and GPs actually need.
Alongside assessment, Kristie holds a therapy caseload for adolescents and adults working through anxiety, low mood, life transitions and the ripple effects of late diagnoses. Her therapy style is evidence-based and warm, with a strong emphasis on helping clients understand the 'why' of what they're experiencing, not just the 'what'.
Kristie has held senior clinical roles, taught at university level and contributed to academic publications. That academic spine shows up quietly in her practice as careful formulation, an interest in good evidence and a willingness to sit with complexity rather than rush to a label.
She sees clients via telehealth across Queensland and in clinic when capacity allows, with a particular focus on families across the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Brisbane regions. Common reasons for referral include neurodevelopmental assessment, NDIS access support, adolescent mental health, and adults seeking clarity after years of feeling like 'something didn't quite fit'.
Kristie works from an evidence-based, formulation-led foundation. She is neuro-affirming, careful with diagnostic language, and treats reports as living documents that should help clients, families and referrers make sense of what's actually going on.
