About Ning

How Ning works

Ning joins Frey Health Group as part of our supportive 2026 Graduate Program intake. Through the program she is supported with ongoing supervision, mentoring, professional development and opportunities to learn alongside experienced clinicians across our multidisciplinary team as she continues to develop her practice as a Provisional Psychologist.

Ning is a warm and empathetic Provisional Psychologist who supports children, adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioural and psychological challenges. She is committed to providing person-centred, respectful and culturally responsive care, with a focus on creating a safe and supportive space for each person she works with.

She has experience supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, work and study-related stress, and other complex life challenges. Her clinical experience includes conducting intake interviews and psychosocial assessments, developing case formulations and treatment plans, completing risk assessments and safety planning, and providing individual psychological interventions informed by approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Ning also has experience working with children with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, social challenges, emotional regulation difficulties and behavioural concerns. Her experience includes classroom and functional behaviour observations, psychological and educational assessment, individual intervention, social skills development, and behaviour and learning support planning, working collaboratively with children, parents, carers and teaching staff across home, school and community settings.

Alongside her work with children and adults, Ning has experience supporting older adults from diverse cultural backgrounds, including people living with dementia, hearing impairment and mobility limitations. Her broader experience across community, hospital and peer-support settings has strengthened her ability to connect with people across the lifespan and respond with empathy, calmness and respect.
