About Phoebe
Phoebe sits in a useful spot in the Constellation team, qualified to deliver counselling in her own right, and also stepping in as an allied health assistant under senior clinician delegation. That dual role means she can work with a young person across the week in a way a single clinician often can't: a counselling session here, a school-based AHA visit there, a community outing to practise a skill in real life.
She holds a Diploma of Counselling and is currently completing studies in Psychology and Criminology, which feed into her work with young people whose lives have intersected with the legal system, school disciplinary processes, or out-of-home care. She is not squeamish about complexity, and she has the temperament to keep showing up week after week with kids who are used to professionals giving up on them.
Phoebe's AHA work runs under the supervision of senior counsellors and the broader Constellation clinical team. Programs might include emotional regulation work designed by a counsellor, social skills support designed alongside an OT, or structured between-session practice for a teenager working on anxiety. The senior clinician designs and reviews, Phoebe delivers the day-to-day work, and the family gets more therapy hours for the same budget.
Her own counselling caseload focuses on young people, with a particular strength in the early-rapport phase. She is often the clinician who can get a previously-stuck teenager to open up, and she works closely with Jacque and the wider counselling team to make sure that early connection translates into longer-term progress.
Phoebe works out of the Gympie clinic, in schools and homes across the Sunshine Coast, and via telehealth where it suits the family. Common reasons for referral include anxiety, school engagement, emotional regulation, and AHA support to extend a senior clinician's therapy plan into everyday life.
Phoebe is warm, patient and steady. She works alongside young people without rushing them, and she keeps senior clinicians closely looped in so AHA support stays clinically sound.

What's the difference between Phoebe's counselling and her AHA work?
Counselling sessions are run by Phoebe in her own right, under her counselling qualifications. AHA work is delivered by Phoebe under a senior clinician's plan, often at a lower hourly rate, so families can get more therapy hours from the same NDIS or private budget.
Can Phoebe see my child at school?
Yes, in many cases. Schools usually need a quick conversation first, and the team will help set that up. Mobile fees and travel apply where relevant.
