What you can expect
Hawthorn is easy to reach from across the inner-east and broader Melbourne metro by tram or car. The clinic is set up for paediatric and adult work: quiet therapy rooms, space for play-based sessions with children, and private rooms for psychology, counselling and assessment work with teens, adults and older clients. Our senior OT, speech pathologist and provisional psychologist are based out of Hawthorn and rotate between clinic and community work.
If you can't get into the clinic, you don't have to. Our Victorian clinicians do mobile visits across greater Melbourne, and travel out to Ballarat and Geelong where the clinical fit and scheduling line up. That covers home-based therapy for older adults under Aged Care or Support at Home, school visits for children, and workplace-based OT for adults. Telehealth is available for anyone where it's clinically appropriate, including parents who'd rather have a session at home after the kids are in bed.
