What you can expect
Mobile sessions across Melbourne are how a lot of our Victorian clients prefer to work. For children, that often means OT or speech pathology at home or daycare, where we can see the actual environment and routines that need supporting. For adults, it might be NDIS OT working on independence at home, or counselling in a familiar space. For older clients, it's in-home therapy through Aged Care or Support at Home, focused on safety, dignity and continuity.
We're a full team rather than a single discipline travelling. A child working with an OT on regulation can also see a speech pathologist for language, or a provisional psychologist for emotional support, with the clinicians coordinating between visits. Reports are written to land cleanly with NDIS, insurers, Aged Care providers and GPs.
If a mobile visit isn't the right fit on a given week, we can switch to telehealth or have you come into the Hawthorn clinic. The point is to keep therapy going without the family or referrer having to project-manage it.
