What you can expect

A full multidisciplinary team in one regional clinic

Gympie is where our Queensland team is based, and it's the easiest place to see a few clinicians on the same day or run a coordinated assessment. Children come in for play-based therapy, regulation and developmental support. Adults and older clients come in for functional capacity assessments, psychological assessments, NDIS therapy, counselling and ongoing occupational therapy. The clinic is purpose-set-up for therapy: quiet rooms, sensory-friendly spaces, and a team who actually like working with kids and families.

If travelling in isn't workable, our clinicians visit homes, schools, daycares and aged care settings across Gympie and the wider catchment. We see clients in Cooloola, across the Sunshine Coast, up into the Brisbane corridor and down through the Gold Coast where capacity allows. For clients further out or in between visits, telehealth fills the gaps without losing continuity.

Families come to us because the team coordinates across disciplines. A child seeing an OT for sensory and motor work can also see a counsellor for emotional regulation, with both clinicians talking to each other. NDIS reports, aged care recommendations and assessment letters are written to be practical and funding-ready, not just clinically tidy.

Common questions

Gympie FAQs
Where is the Constellation Therapies Gympie clinic?

1 Smithfield Street, Gympie QLD 4570. It's our flagship clinic and the base for our Queensland team.

Do you do home visits in Gympie and on the Sunshine Coast?

Yes. Our Queensland clinicians travel to homes, schools, daycares and aged care settings across Gympie, the Sunshine Coast, and into the Brisbane and Gold Coast regions. Availability depends on the discipline and the week, so it's worth getting in early for mobile bookings.

Can I use NDIS funding at the Gympie clinic?

Yes. We work with NDIS participants who are plan-managed and self-managed across psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology, counselling and play therapy. We also write Functional Capacity Assessments and Clinical Psychology Assessments that meet NDIS evidence requirements.

Do you see adults and older clients in Gympie, or just children?

We see across the whole lifespan. Children and adolescents from age 2 through play therapy, OT and counselling. Adults for psychology, OT, speech pathology and assessments. Older clients via Aged Care / Support at Home, including in-home visits where mobility is an issue.

What's the difference between coming in to the Gympie clinic and a mobile visit?

The clinic gives us controlled space, sensory equipment and the option to bring more than one clinician into a session. Mobile visits let us see how a child copes at school, how an older client moves around their home, or how a family functions at mealtimes. Most plans use a mix.
